New Release Friday: Holiday Gift Tags, Beary Cute Combos and New CU!

It is Friday and Chelle has three new products out this week.  First up is an awesome set of holiday gift tags.  Created by Chelle’s CT team and featuring all of Chelle’s holiday kits.  Sized at 4” x 6” sheets, you can easily print at home or your local store.

They look great on gifts, despite my dark photos.  LOL!

Need a quick gift for Grandma & Grandpa?  Maybe some cuteness for DH's desk at work?  Or something for Aunt-Sue-who-has-everything?  How about some pics of the baby?
Next up is a couple of combo packs of baby quickpages.  Using Chelle’s baby kits, you can purchase either a girl set, a boy set, or the super combo with contains all of the quickpages.

Memory Spark Monday

Hello all, this is Liz and I am in a holiday mood.  I remember growing up and always looking forward to the holidays.  As a kid, my focus was always on the wish list.  What would Santa bring me this year?  Now at the ripe old age of 29 (almost 30) I can only remember a handful of Christmas presents (books, a bicycle, and a keyboard).  But what really sticks with me are holiday traditions and the family fun that we had every year.  I remember my grandfather doing “Mail Call” with the Christmas cards for all the family.  He would say everyone’s full name as he would hand them out.  And he would always get my Aunt Janice a card with a beautiful Christmas tree on the front which was always the joke that she was trying to get her tree to look identical to the picture.  And inside my card he would always sign it “Fank” which was my nickname for him since I was about 3 or 4.  I love remembering those memories of the holidays.  The obscene amounts of food cooked, the Monopoly tournaments, and the Coke can pyramids.  I challenge you to think beyond the material trappings of the holidays and reflect upon the special and unique things about your family that made the holidays so special.  A special dessert or an aunt that always burned the potatoes.  Think about it.  Happy a great day and I should be back on Thursday with a new sneak peek. 

Memory Spark Monday - Holiday Traditions

Hi everyone! Fiona here for another Memory Spark Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a fantastic Black Friday! And since it's now the Monday after Thanksgiving it is official........Christmas is on it's way! I am so excited. I love everything about Christmas, about the whole month of December in fact! There are just so many family traditions that take place at this time of year. Holiday traditions that I look forward to all year. When I think back to my childhood, these traditions are what I remember most. I remember decorating the tree, watching the Santa Claus Parade, taking part in the church Christmas pageant, my dad videotaping us opening our presents Christmas morning, and our big family Christmas dinners. These traditions are still important to me today. They are the memories I want my children to have when they grow up. I looked back through my pictures of the last couple of years and found some photos that I hadn't gotten around to scrapping. They are pictures of my daughter's very first time in the our church's Christmas pageant. I wanted to scrap them so that she can always look back and remember her first time in the pageant and how her daddy dressed up like a shepherd to be in it with her. It is a memory of the start of a new tradition for her.

Memory Spark Monday

Hey there Chelle's readers! It's LoriBear here to bring you a memory spark for today! I know that for alot in the States you all have Thanksgiving coming up and this is a HUGE holiday there and in Canada although we celebrate ours in October LOL Yeah we get our goods first..nah nah nahnahhhhhh! LOL As I was cooking my meal this year for the family I thought back to all the times when I was a child and we had dinner with our HUGE family.. The kids were at a small card table and the adults at the BIG table and I just remember how awesome those were with the my cousins and aunts, and uncles, my grandparents (who have now all passed) and my gosh those were the days! Its actually sad that we dont do this anymore My cousins all have their own families and are doing other things, my aunts and uncles are now doing there own thing and of course I am doing the meal now for my parents and brother and my family. Although I have carried on the exact menu which includes Turkey & stuffing, rolls, mashed taters, mashed turnip, and all the fixings I think back to those days when our family (even all the extended family) would come together for this holiday! You Memory spark today and you can choose to scrap it if you wish is to think back to those days ... Did you do the Thanksgiving parade?? Do you still?? What about your Thanksgiving menu?? Do you still use the same as when you were a child or is it something totally different now? Is there a Thanksgiving tradition you wished you had still carried on??
