New Release Friday: Holiday Gift Tags, Beary Cute Combos and New CU!

It is Friday and Chelle has three new products out this week.  First up is an awesome set of holiday gift tags.  Created by Chelle’s CT team and featuring all of Chelle’s holiday kits.  Sized at 4” x 6” sheets, you can easily print at home or your local store.

They look great on gifts, despite my dark photos.  LOL!

Need a quick gift for Grandma & Grandpa?  Maybe some cuteness for DH's desk at work?  Or something for Aunt-Sue-who-has-everything?  How about some pics of the baby?
Next up is a couple of combo packs of baby quickpages.  Using Chelle’s baby kits, you can purchase either a girl set, a boy set, or the super combo with contains all of the quickpages.
And last but certainly not least, Chelle has released a new CU product.  With these doodly CU starters, you are well on your way to creating fun elements and papers.

And that is it!  Have a fabulous weekend!

Hybrid Highlights!

Photobucket

Good Monday morning, everyone! Kendall here on this chilly December day to bring you another fabulous edition of Hybrid Highlights. I love browsing the Chelle's Creations gallery at ScrapMatters and seeing all of Chelle's awesome products in use. Lately, there have been some fantastic hybrid creations popping up all over the place! Here's a look at just a few of them.

First up is this precious birth announcement made by jennamy82 using Chelle's Beary Cute Baby Girl kit. Jenn made the announcement for her brand new niece, and what better way to celebrate a new addition to the family than this super-cute card?!

Photobucket

Krisi616 created this fabulously functional gift card holder using Chelle's cute new kit Holly Jolly Holiday.

Photobucket

Take a look at this photo CD holder made by quietangelsb using Chelle's Happy Elements, Happy Borders, Brackets, and Frames, Happy Papers, and Happy Alphas . What a fun way to keep all your family or special occasion photos stored in style!

Photobucket

Mom2my2monkeys also used the Happy Collection to create this pocket calendar cover. This is another fun way to display your photos throughout the year in a unique way.

I hope these hybrid projects have inspired you and helped you to see Chelle's products in a whole new light. If you have a fabulous hybrid creation made with one of Chelle's kits, link us up in the Comments section below. We'd love to see what you've done! Have a great week, everyone!

Hybrid Highlights

Hi, everyone, and Happy November! Tracy (sunshinetk) here with a really fun little hybrid project and mini-tutorial for you. I absolutely love to make up a bunch of these little hot chocolate mix bags and have them on hand as quick little thank yous to use over the winter. And the hot chocolate recipe is so yummy!

I used Chelle's kit Day by Day: January mini-kit to make this set. The image is linked to her store:

First, I have a template freebie for you so all you have to do is clip in your papers, print, cut and assemble. The template looks like this and you can download .psd file HERE.  If you need .png files, then download it here.

Once I clipped in my papers, my print file looks like this:

I cut out all the elements and ended up with pieces that look like this:

Then I used a bone folder to score along the dotted lines and a regular hole punch to punch on the four Xs. I filled plastic bags with the dry mix for a wonderful hot cocoa recipe - the mix is
* 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 1 pinch salt
and the directions for completion are: Boil 1/3 cup water and add mix. Simmer and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add 3 1/2 cups milk and heat until very hot (but do not boil). Makes 4 cups.

Assembly is super easy! Fold up the bag and staple the top of your cocoa mix between your punched holes so the ribbon covers it up.

Tie your ribbon and you're all done! Hope you've enjoyed this super easy tutorial.

Saturday Standouts and CT Spotlight

Hello.... Hello..... Jenn (jk703) here for our Saturday Standouts and CT Spotlight! Woot... I'm going to switch it up a smidge and we are going to get to know Kelli (Kellig) a little better to start!

First, Kelli is a sweetheart, and a fantastic admin for Chelle, as well as a fantastic digiscrapper! I also have the opportunity to work with her at a ScrapMatters Girl... so I wanted to make my questions a bit fun! Now, I was trying to give her lots of room with the questions I asked, so I asked 15!!!! lol! Some are your basic questions and I added a few out of the norm ones too! So... I picked my favorite 6 and here are Kelli's responses! Hope you enjoy meeting Kelli!

Jenn: Why did you decide to start scrapping?
Kelli: I wanted to find a way to preserve my family memories and paper scrapped years ago. Digi was a super easy transition.

I think we can all agree with this! Saving out family memories is so important, and fun too! I think the fun part came in with my next question. Asking fun questions actually gave me an idea of making them into scrapbook layouts and asking my friends and family what their answers would be!

J: If you had super powers, which would you choose and why?
K: Seriously, I would just like to have more than one of me!

J: What is a crazy activity that you would secretly love to try one day?
K: I am a speed junkie. I would love to drive a race car and sky dive one day.

J: What is one item that you miss from being a kid?
K: I miss the carefree, lazy days of summer.

J: Do you believe in Ghosts? What is your favorite scary movie?
K: Nope, no ghosts and definitely NO scary movies!! I'm a big ole sissy!!

J: What is the kindest thing someone has ever done for you?
K: Taken my child under their wing at her new school this year. I was a nervous wreck, but they made sure to keep an eye on her and make sure she was adjusting OK. It meant more to me than anything.

Here is Kelli's pick as her most favorite layout...(mine too -- it just makes me laugh!!!) So head over and leave some love!

Kelli's most favorite layout from Chelle's Designer Gallery is this one by Jan aka QuiltyMom:

I hope you enjoyed meeting Kelli and learning more about a top notch sweet person and scrapper!

------------------

Now onto some spotlighting of those fab layouts I see every day in the gallery using Chelle's Products! Up first, a most darling and beautiful page by Cara aka Colson! Check out all those little details, and such sweet photos!

This next layout's blend is so cool and so much fun! I love that it is blended in green! Created by Kassie aka Kass 23, this one received the Layout of the Week! Congrats Kassie! How awesome and refreshing is this:

My last pick for this week is a really cool and fun hybrid project by Krisi aka Krisi616! This card looks so perfect, and totally shows off a great way to use the Get Well Soon Kit! So cute Krisi!

I hope you've enjoyed meeting Kelli, and eyeing up my spotlights for this week!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
