You go girl! and Sampler/Freebie
Hope you are having a great Friday! I have a new kit this week: Girl Power
The blues, greens, and browns are PERFECT for girl scout layouts! And as always there are lots of non-girl scout related items, so you will find yourself reaching for this kit again and again. AND the colors correspond with the Let's Camp S'more kit, too!
I spent a good chunk of this week baking. Look what I made for you: Cookie Power
Mmmmm! Bet you're hungry now! Just look what lovely creations my CT made with these kits:
One more item, I See Right Through You Vellum Journaling Tags
I See Right Through You was a speed scrap participation prize, but if you weren't able to join us, now you can find it in the store. I works GREAT for the Saturday Special: Leading challenge. Don't forget to take the challenge and upload before July 1st to earn points towards store discounts.
Now that you've read all the way to the bottom, here's your prize:

Have a GREAT weekend!

Is it summer yet?
Yesterday during a brief break in the clouds, my daughter said "you mean the sky still is blue?" Well, it is, but we sure aren't seeing much of it. Are you ready for Father's Day? I'm not quite ready yet, but I do have this for you: Lesson's from My Father
It's perfect for your masculine layouts. Or for making a father's day card! Hey that's a great idea...
We had a great time at the Speed Scrap! If you weren't able to join us, but WANT those text paths, they are also available now: Find Your Path
They are so fun and easy to use (if your software supports PSD files). Just double click on the text and enter your own words. You can change the font, the color, the size... They are great. Before I got Photoshop CS4, I was always wishing I could do these. Now you can!
See how cool they are?

Those who've joined me from my pre-designing blog know that I am a stickler about story. I LOVE all my "old" scrapbooks, but I was chicken about journaling. I just didn't know what to say. Now I've realized that it's easy. I just write what I would say if I were telling you about the event or photo. What would I say to my friends? That's it. Type it & you're done. Easy peasy.
So, in that vein, here's some places to put those heartfelt words: Just a Moment Journal Tags
From Liz:
Did you notice? I am SO excited to welcome my new CT members: Liz and Alli. Welcome ladies!
Have a great weekend everyone!

ps. Wondering how to get your text lined up on those lines? Check back tomorrow for a tutorial!

The rain came tumbling down
It has rained everyday here for about 10 days. And I live in a desert! The storms have been bad enough that it has hailed nearly everyday during that time. I'm grateful for the moisture, but it would be nice if we could plant the flowers!
Last Tuesday morning as the cement contractors left, my new curbing looked AWESOME! Tuesday night was the first hail storm...the cement would've been fine in the rain, but the hail? Nope. Pocked the cement. All of if. Marble-sized hail will do that to you. Oh well. Can't win 'em all.
Good news is I can scrap and design without guilt, because I can't work outside. LOL!

It's FRIDAY!
I've always liked Fridays, but now that new releases come out on Fridays, I love them even more. I've had so many requests for more colors of the on-the-dot alpha, that I decided to make it a collection:
But that's not all, here's the companion alpha collection:
In the store there are LOTS of choices: each alpha is available individually...or these collections...or if you really love them, the entire collection for a substantial discount!
With so many colors, you're bound to find one that fits your layout.
By me:

or if not, they do "slightly" recolor rather well:
