Product Flashback: Make A Splash

Hi everyone! Happy Monday. Cara (aka colson) here today to highlight a "not new" digi-kit of Chelle's. Since the weather is (finally!) warming up and summertime fun is on our minds, this kit is perfect for showcasing those swimming, waterpark, vacation or other warm weather pictures. There are so many fun papers and splash embellies that you just want to smile while you create your layout! Here's a look at the kit which you can get HERE:

Isn't that fun?!? My little boy and I tagged along with my husband on a recent business trip and I found this to be the perfect kit to scrap the photos of swimming in the hotel pool. Here's my layout using Make A Splash, Splash of Summer Alpha and Scrap Like Tracy Templates:

I challenge you to start taking some warm weather photos and grab this kit... you'll be so glad you did! Link us up here, so we can see your fabulous layouts.

Flashback Monday!

We are rewinding the clock today and looking at an oldie, but goodie in Chelle's Shop! Shanell here doing my favorite thing on the blog: talking about my favorite products! I love layers. I love stacking, but I find it takes me a long time to get it right. I'm constantly moving things about and trying to get it to look right. Well, when Chelle came out with these my heart sang out!

I LOVE these templates. It makes it super easy for me to "get it right" with out spending a lot of time doing it. I use these ALL. THE. TIME! I use them seperately and together with other layers. I will stack a couple together to get this effect:

{image linked for full credits}
or use them by themselves to get this effect:

{image linked for full credits}

They are great for single pages or photos or lots of photos. They are fun and easy and come with shadows. They are also in a wonky version too! Check them out!! Stay tuned tomorrow for a freebie that uses these stacked templates!

Monday Flashback Time!

Does it almost feel like Spring is on it's way? Sort of? Even a little? It's Kairyn here with a Spring flashback! No, Spring doesn't feel right around the corner here...not with five foot snowbanks outside my door, but I know it's coming. Just this morning we saw TWO Pileated Woodpeckers checking the nearby trees for bugs!

Bug Catcher is a great Spring-y feeling kit! Why not scrap some Spring today? It always makes me feel warmer!

I scrapped some chilly fun outdoors!

Just to be clear, I did use flowers from Chelle's Carrot Patch kit, and Scrap Like Jan Templates which are new this week! I love how my LOs came out, and I can't wait to see yours! Link us up, ladies!

A Sweet Flashback!

Hello fans of Chelle! It's merchi aka Karen here...

I don't know about you, but it's always nice to look back and reflect on the old year when facing a new one! I think about what I did or did not accomplish in the old year; ways to change and improve in the new year; and things I did right and would like to do again!

Today I want to take a few minutes and look back on a kit Chelle released LAST January... Sweet Thing

It's available in Chelle's ScrapMatters shop here!

It's a darling little kit, and there was actually a portion of it given away to ScrapMatters newsletter subscribers. (If you're not a subscriber, you can sign up here.) You'll want to do that, because there are always lots of great things in there! Speaking of newsletters... be sure you're a subscriber to Chelle's personal newsletter too...you'll find the link at the top of this blog on the right...and a free gift for signing up right above it!

This part of it is available here.

This week, Chelle came out with a fabulous alpha and template set. I used the template set with Sweet Thing to come up with this...

This is my newest granddaughter...isn't she the sweetest thing?

Here is a bit more inspiration for Sweet Thing...

Celebrate a Flashback

Hello fans of Chelle! It's merchi aka Karen here...

I don't know about you, but it's always nice to look back and reflect on the old year when facing a new one! I think about what I did or did not accomplish in the old year; ways to change and improve in the new year; and things I did right and would like to do again!

How did you ring in the new year? Did you have a party? Movie and ice cream night (my dd did)? Or maybe attend a Speed Scrap (like me)? I think Chelle's Celebrate! kits are perfect for scrapping your new year's celebration, no matter how you celebrated! The fun colors and elements are so versatile and not strictly for birthdays, take a look at Celebrate! Bold...

It's available in Chelle's ScrapMatters shop here!

I used it to create my January calendar topper for my 2011 calendar that I gave away as gifts this past Christmas... see my goofy children! lol:

Hello out there! It's me, merchi (aka Karen) back with another product flashback! I know when I hear the word flashback, I think of something OLD...but we're going to take another look at one of Chelle's more recent kits that I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We're going to look again at Sew Crafty, a collab Chelle did with Erica Zane:

This WONDERFUL kit is available here. Now let me tell you why I love it... for one thing it is all about crafts...handcrafts specifically. Knitting, crochet, sewing...even cross stitch or embroidery! I LOVE the pattern paper alpha, the feltie elements and the crochet flowers!

Here's a LO I did just this past week with this kit:

This one was about my dd and dgd when I taught them how to knit using the rhyme "In through the front door, around the back, out through the window, off jumps jack!" It worked perfectly for them to get the idea of what they needed to do to make a stitch.

Here's a close up of each side:

In case that isn't enough inspiration... here's a few more LOs to get you going...

I hope you'll take some time to scrap your favorite craft today!

Blessings!

Product Flashback

Hi Everyone, it's Emma (hobbes130) here to bring you a super product flashback. Where did the summer go! It's fall already and I am now beginning to think about Christmas! I am a little obsessive when it comes to holidays I love to get started early, making lists, shopping (what girl doesn't) and my favorite thing of all is decorating the house. As soon as December 1st starts I am literally chomping at the bit to hang the stockings and get the tree up. As a primary school teacher Christmas always starts early for me, by the middle of November we will be rehearsing the play, practicing carols and making christmas crafts.

So in honor of my favorite christmas activity I am flashing back to

Chelle also has the felt nativity available separately.
Now for some inspiration, just look at this wonderful digi creations using this kit I was spoilt for choice in the Scrap Matters gallery for what to show off there were so many wonderful layouts and projects.

It's almost fall.. and I have a flashback!

Hi Everyone, it's Kate (mom2my2monkeys) to bring you a super product flashback. Can you believe it's almost fall?? I can't believe how quick this year is just flying by, it'll be Christmas if I close my eyes! If you're anything like me, you're probably already thinking about the holidays (okay, I admit.. I could just be abnormal) and are gearing up for all of the fun that comes with fall! Every year my kids, husband and I build a scarecrow and sit him on our front porch - it's about as close as we get to fall here in Florida - I still had pictures that I hadn't scrapped from a couple of years ago, and the kit I'm featuring today fits them SO well!

My flash back is "Midnight Crow" which is absolutely fantastic for fall themed pictures!

{Click image to view the product in Chelle's store}

Cute right? I just LOVE the elements in this kit - I think it has to be one of my favorite fall kits.
Here's a peek at what I did with the kit..

I just love the colors of this kit, and love how ready for fall I am now! Here's a little bit of inspiration from the rest of the team and some of the girls over at Scrap Matters.

From .megan.

And one from Neeny

If that doesn't have you ready for fall, I don't know what will! I hope you enjoyed this flashback and it made you ready to kick summer behind us and get ready for fall!

Hi Friends!
It's merchi (aka Karen) here with a product flashback! I'm so excited to have been asked to remain on Chelle's team (after guesting for a month) and this is my very first blog post! I hope you are looking forward to looking backward, lol...

I've been hankering to scrap some photos of my littles at our local amusement park. So I've chosen to spotlight Chelle's kit Ticket to Ride. This is such a FUN kit! Here's a preview:

(clicking on the image will bring you right to Chelle's ScrapMatters store.)

Was I right? Isn't that fun? Here's the double page spread I ended up with...

Just like at the park, there is so much to look at, so much to see! If you need more inspiration, here are a few layouts from some of the other CT members:
